Director of Operations

Sydney — Full-time — Hybrid

BaseUp creates technology to give employees flexible access to their office parking. As businesses transition to hybrid working, our products provide better commuting options. Our dedicated team, market-leading technology, and industry partnerships are reshaping how businesses and employees think about office parking.

We launched in Australia in 2017, since then we’ve worked with some of the world's largest employers and property groups to make over 1 million commutes a year a little easier. In 2021 we launched our first U.S. offices to bring flexibility to the world’s largest parking market.

About the role

Our Operations team is made up of 3 functions — client onboarding, client success and customer support — you’ll be responsible for all three, supported by an exceptional team and reporting to BaseUp’s Founders.

We’re looking for someone who wants to make Operations at BaseUp their own, and you’ll be given the autonomy and resources to do that. Our clients include most of the ASX20 and Australia’s largest property groups. This role will be a mix of long-term strategic projects and hands-on relationship management with Australia’s largest companies.

This role will involve:

  • Leading a team to deliver on client onboarding, client success and customer support;
  • Leading strategic projects to improve our Operations functions;
  • Directly managing relationships with our largest clients;
  • Working with Sales to deliver cross-selling opportunities; and
  • Reporting to BaseUp’s Founders on all of the above.

About our technology

About you

This is a foundational role for BaseUp’s Australian team. If you’re the type of person who’s comfortable with ambiguity, can coordinate multiple responsibilities, and wants autonomy, we want to hear from you. Our favourite candidates will have:

  • 5+ years experience working in Operations with enterprise clients;
  • Experience in client success and client onboarding;
  • Experience working with technology products;
  • A demonstrated ability to manage an operations team; and
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
